Lissy Priyadarshan is an Indian film actress who was very popular in 1980s. She has acted in a numberof Tamil and Telugu films and after her marriage with the popular film director Priyadarshan in 1990, she quitted acting and is living with her family in Chennai.

Lissy was born at Pukkattupadi in Kochi in Kerala in a Roman Catholic family. She lost her father when she was a small girl and she was brought up by her mother Aliyamma. She completed her schooling at St. Teresa’s school and went to college to pursue her higher studies.
Then she entered the Malayalam film industry and was able to shoot to fame in a short period of time. It was at this time that she fell in love with the popular film director Priyadarshan with whom she worked in 12 movies. They married in 1990 and has a daughter named Kalyani and a son named Siddharth, both studying abroad. She quitted acting after her marriage and got converted into Hindu and changed her
name as Lakshmi.

She entered Malayalam film industry through the film through the film Ithiri Neram Othiri Karyam in 1982. Her debut movie in Tamil was Ananda Aradhanai in 1987. She has worked with many top heroes of her times like Mohanlal and Mukesh. Her mesmerizing looks got her chances to perform in many popular movies like Chithram, Thalavattom, Odaruthammava Alariyam and Boeing Boeing.

Idaruthammava Aalariyam, Mutharamkunnu P.O., Boeing Boeing, Aram + Aram = Kinnaram,
